To lead the global economy toward a sustainable future, we have seen enterprises push the limit on innovating, transforming and improving their business models. In addition, European companies have taken practical decarbonisation actions, including shifting towards low-emissions energy carriers, nurturing industrial ecosystems, catalyzing effective capital reallocation and new financing structures, and so on.

FinnCham Shanghai joins this year the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter that will run the 6th cycle of its flagship project: Sustainable Business Awards 2022 (SBA). The SBA is to reward excellence in sustainable and CSR company programmes and raise awareness about sustainable business practices and responsible operating models. Advanced Performer in Decarbonisation continues to be one of the six categories for this year's awards. In the meantime, the Chamber will launch its Decarbonisation Report on 25th May, a report that distills European businesses' actions, practices and views on this topic.

We are delighted to invite FinnCham Shanghai members to attend the Sustainable Business Awards 2022 Launch. In this CEO Talk, winners from the 2021 SBAAdvanced Performer in Decarbonisation category will outline their successful projects and practises in low-carbon transformation, carbon reduction, green development and others. SBA 2022 will officially open for submission.
