Audrey is a Manager in the Forensic Advisory Services practice of Grant Thornton China and is located in the Shanghai office.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Audrey had three-year working experience in the Audit & Assurance industry at several well-known public accounting firms, including EY, Mazars and Wiss & Co. (based in New York). During her time as an external auditor, she gained extensive experience in accounting and auditing, including but not limited to IPO audit, annual financial statement audit under IFRS, US GAAP and PRC reporting requirement.
At Grant Thornton, Audrey used her solid accounting knowledge and rich audit experience to bring many new ways of thinking and perspectives to investigations, risk assessment, ABAC audit, compliance/internal control support, and expert witness projects. Her responsibilities include document review, transaction testing, interview, combing evidence and summarizing key observations, and reporting to the management team.
The industries she served include, but are not limited to, manufacture, IT, pharmaceutical, airlines, property management, and consumer goods.

Tim is a multilingual, DBA graduate, and currently leading the Shanghai Forensic Advisory Services business for GT China. With both Deloitte (2004-2014) and Grant Thornton (2016-present), Tim has focused on Forensic Advisory to develop, manage, and enhance ethics & compliance programs.

Leveraging risk management consulting and his strong academic background, he effectively prioritizes and builds sustainable ethics & compliance programs for clients in China’s complex and changing business environment. Expertise in multi-industry compliance operations (including policy management, monitoring, training, and communications, whistleblower hotline, integrity due diligence, security issues, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, forensic investigations, data analytics & executive reporting).

Tim holds 31 years of China-related experience, of which 19+ years has been working in Shanghai for two leading global accounting firms and a premier Chinese investment management company. He has led hundreds of corporate compliance projects across all industries & regions throughout China and Asia.

Ian is a Tax Director of Grant Thornton Shanghai Office.

Ian has more than 10 years of experiences of providing China tax and business consultation to multinational enterprises, including tax compliance assistance, tax due diligences, investment structure planning, inbound and outbound investment assistance, merger and acquisition structuring tax and business advices, etc.

Ian has served clients in a wide range of industries, including education, manufacturing, Commercial trading, TMT, automobile and others.

Ian previously authored tax-related articles in the "China Taxation Journal“.
Bachelor's Degree in Taxation from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool.

Tony Xu is a Tax Senior Manager of Grant Thornton Shanghai office. Tony has more than 13 years’ experience in delivering services to many key clients for global mobility services, PRC Individual Income Tax (IIT) consultation, compliance and advisory on global equity incentive plan, and immigration services.
