Workshop: First Aid Training (in English)

In any accident or emergency, making the right choices at the right time can be the difference between life and death. It is therefore good for everyone to have basic awareness of emergency and first aid care. SwedCham collaborates with Shanghai United Family Hospital to create this opportunity to learn about first aid training and has invited the members of FBCS to join.

At the training, Shanghai United Family Hospital will give an introduction to basic life saving techniques. This course teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies, and prepares them to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course includes a combination of knowledge development, skills development and realistic scenario practice.

Skills taught in this course include:

• Scene Assessment
• Barrier Use
• Primary Assessment
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Serious Bleeding Management
• Shock Management
• Spinal Injury Management
• Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management

Maximum number of attendees are 12, and the course will be taught during 4 hours worth. The price for the session is 250RMB for Members and 380RMB for Non-Members (the real value is 4,500RMB).

REFUND POLICY:

Fapiao for eligible events will be sent to you within 7 working days after the event, given that all billing information is complete.

Please note that we cannot offer fapiao pickup at events.

Refunds will only be processed for cancellations made at the latest:

- 7 days before Tradition Events, Workshops, Galas.

- 24h before Sharp Talks, Executive Dialogues and Others.

Events will not be refunded in case a fapiao has already been issued.

REGISTRATION: Registration is required to confirm a seat. You may register and pay directly to SwedCham via this link​ until Friday, October 11, 2019 or as long as there are seats available. Registration is binding and no-shows will be charged RMB 200 unless cancelled before the end-of-day of the final registration date.
