KONE Elevators Co., Ltd. was established in December 1996 in Kunshan China. Kunshan Park, an area of 240,000 sqm, is KONE's largest production and R&D base including one of the world's tallest elevator test towers. At present, KONE China has over 90 branches, more than 1,000 service sites national wide and over 20,000 employees, reaching an impressive milestone of 1.5 million elevator and escalator deliveries.

FinnCham Shanghai is organizing an opportunity for the members and friends of FinnChams in China to visit KONE Kunshan Park Campus with all its wonders. For the smooth logistics sake, it is recommended that the participants will join the bus transportation organized to reach the venue on time.

10:00 visit the show room and test tower
- Show room exhibits some of KONE's key offering in elevators and in escalators
- Test tower is the tallest test tower in Asia, and the home of testing for our high rise elevators and their technologies like the UltraRope
11:00 visit through the factories
- We go through the some of the elevator component factories and visit the escalator factory as well
12:00 Lunch
13:00 Departure back to Shanghai (light beverages will be offered onboard the bus)
14:30 Estimated arrival at People's Park drop-off point.
Bus may be requested to stop along the route within the city proper
