Managing Director, Greater China of HaysSimon has over 20 years consulting and management experience within the professional recruitment industry in China, Australia and UK. Simon is currently the Managing Director for the Greater China region, with overall responsibility for over 300 staff across offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
In addition to his role with Hays, Simon has been a Non-Executive Director of the Board from 2017 – 2021 with AustCham Shanghai, the peak body for Australian business interests in China. In this volunteer position, which included being elected as Chairman (2020-2021), Simon provided strategic direction, governance and financial oversight for AustCham Shanghai.
Simon graduated from the University of Western Australia (BSc, Marine Science) and maintains a strong personal interest in infrastructure, renewable energy & conservation.
