Dr. Ioana
Kraft
General Manager at European Union Chamber of Commerce in China
https://www.europeanchamber.com.cn/en/homeIoana has served as General Manager of the Shanghai Chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (European Chamber) since October 2009. She is responsible for implementation and development of European Chamber objectives, visibility, membership and lobbying activities on a regional level in Shanghai and neighbouring regions.
A German-qualified lawyer, before joining the Chamber Ioana practiced with a German law firm in Shanghai focussing on foreign direct investment.
Ioana holds a PhD degree in law from Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf, where she also worked as a Senior Research Assistant.
Jenny Wang
Senior Manager at Fragomen
Jenny is a Senior Manager at Fragomen’s Shanghai office. Throughout her 10 years with the firm, Jenny has developed a wealth of immigration knowledge. She leverages this experience to manage the immigration teams for both high-profile global corporations and local clients. She also serves as a Client Services Manager for the Asia Pacific region. In this capacity, she ensures adherence to client protocols, develops solutions to complex immigration challenges and partners with clients on various immigration matters, ranging from VIP cases to large-scale projects involving hundreds of assignees.
In collaboration with the firm’s dedicated Knowledge group, Jenny leads the development of immigration knowledge and training for China. She also leads the China advisory and compliance team. Jenny helps to monitor, analyze and report on the latest changes in the immigration field in China to keep Fragomen professionals and clients around the world ahead of the curve. Jenny speaks English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
Ray Xia
Manager, PwC China Global Mobility Services at PwC
Ray Xia is a Manager with PwC China Global Mobility Services, specialising in Immigration Services. Ray has been with PwC Shanghai GMS team since 2014, and was seconded to PwC Kuala Lumpur office for a 6-month assignment handling global mobility consulting and immigration work. Ray has extensive knowledge and experience in immigration. She advises immigration matters to many well-known multinational companies in various industries, including banking, car manufacturing, telecommunication, engineering and etc. Ray can manage large scale immigration projects for new business operations across the globe, including liaising with local government. Ray holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor degree with honours in Accounting from Pace University
